A White Precipitate

(To the tune of "White Christmas")
 
I'm dreaming of a white precipitate
      Just like the ones I used to make
With the test you could rely on
     To prove the chloride ion:-
Acidify, then add silver nitrate.
 
I'm dreaming of a white precipitate
     With every practical test I do
May your equations be balanced and true
     And may all your reactions be just great.
